International Team Competition in History of Music Notations International Team Competition in History of Music Notations

QUIZ TRAINING

Java is not enabled in your Web browser.

This is a prototype, general quiz about early music notations.

This example uses pictures per questions, shows the solutions "At End", shows the restart quiz button and marks the score (which means that depending on your score, different messages and pictures are shown).

Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboration   This is an "alpha-prototype" implementation of the International Team Competition Framework. The framework is for educators or others to create online games that support interactive learning, and that foster international collaboration between individuals in small teams that work together toward a common goal. This prototype was made by Louis Barton and his colleagues for an application to the HASTAC (Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboration) for an "Innovation in Participatory Learning" award, as sponsored by The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Under an award, further development of this framework and implementation would be from June 2009 through May 2010. The finished framework and documentation would be made publicly available as of June 2010.

Rapid application development of this framework, however, involves re-use of some Java software that has existing copyrights with different licensing terms. This implementation uses content of images and audio clips that may be subject to copyright restrictions in some jurisdictions.
