Louis W. G. Barton

§ Sample A: "Kyrie XI"

Example of square neumes

The chant notation has a four-line staff (with doh clef), text below the staff, and square neumes (as used in the modern-day Liber Usualis). Underneath it is 'common-practice' notation that corresponds to the neume notation above it.
